Once you have been approved, you can fill out random applications. There are many things in the Harry Potter world. You could become an Animagi, Quidditch Captain, etc.. You can also apply for your Patronus. (If you have any other ideas, that the staff may have forgotten, post a thread in the Suggestions section under the INFORMATION - Other Tidbits. The staff will try to appease your desires after that).

| Azkaban
The dreadful and dark prison, situated on an island in the North Sea, holds a massive number of rouge witches and wizards. Dementors are always on guard. And of course they make the prison even worse. Many do not survive long. If they do not die, they are most likely to go mad.

| Diagon Alley (9 sub-boards)
Every witch and wizard knows of this place. Or at least they hopefully do. The alley is filled with shops, for any witch and wizard's needs. And it is obviously of great help to the wizarding community.

| Hogsmeade (9 sub-boards)
In some prospects, Hogsmeade is like Diagon Alley. It holds many stores and places for wizards and witches. However, it is situated right next to Hogwarts. So, during the school year, students often come to visit.

| Knockturn Alley (1 sub-board)
This alley is actually right next to Diagon Alley. Unlike Diagon Alley, an amazing and glorious place, Knockturn Alley is actually dark and outright creepy. Many young witches and wizards are not allowed to venture there. Some of the odd items are hrunken heads, poisonous candles, human-looking fingernails, and Flesh-Eating Slug Repellent.

| Ministry of Magic (9 sub-boards)
Underground, the Ministry of Magic is not found by Muggles. Of course they do have windows to let the workers know what is happening outside. The entire station is outrageously large. There are various levels. You can enter through the red telephone booth. (Just type in 62442 - MAGIC). Or you can come through the fireplaces to the Atrium.

| Number Twelve Grimmauld Place
The building is invisible to Muggles, as various spells and enchantments are placed against it. This was once home to the Blacks. However, after Sirius Black's death, Harry Potter became its owner. The spot has always been a place for the Order of the Phoenix's meetings. And it still is to this day.

| Platform Nine and Three-Quarters
Through the stone barrier in Kings Cross Station, students find their way to the platform. The place is always busy. Even when the train is only used six times a year for Hogwarts, many witches and wizards roam the grounds. The platform's smell, which is distinct, makes students excited about the upcoming year.

| St. Mungo's Hospital (7 sub-boards)
This hospital is the main wizarding healing department in Britain. Healers are always ready to treat wizards and even Muggles. To enter, one must only come to a store called Purge and Dowse, Ltd. (Closed for Refurbishments). Muggles are actually able to see the shop. However, only wizards know to talk to the dummy outside. After that, you simply walk through the window.

| Quidditch World Cup Stadium
The Stadium was created in the middle of no where. Well, not really. But it is surrounded by nothing but forest and trees. Muggles never reach the area, though, as something always forces them away. The stadium holds a capacity of 100,000. When the tournament is not is session, some teams will take time to practice. And some witches and wizards have been found wandering around the area.

| MUGGLE world |
| Godric's Hollow
Though this area is well known for its wizard inhabitants, it is still considered a Muggle village. The two groups live side by side, the Muggles never figuring out the other's magical secrets. There are also monuments in memory of the Potters. However, things are slightly more peaceful and bright these days. More wizarding families have even moved in.

| Kings Cross Station
This station lies in northwestern London and is always busy. People are always wandering aimlessly around. You can ask the guards for help to find Platform Nine and Three-Quarters. However, they will probably laugh.

| The Leaky Cauldron
It serves as the cross between Charing Cross Section and Diagon Alley. The building is not that big. Also, Muggles are unable to see it and simply pass it by. Even so, it is actually quite busy and filled with wizards and witches. It also serves as a place to stay.

There is a million places to visit in London. Some of the best known are a bakery on Pudding Lane, a cafe on Tottenham Court Rd., Charing Cross Road, a library, and Tom Riddle's orphanage.

Places include Little Whinging, Number four, Privet Drive, Magnolia Road, Magnolia Crescent, Wisteria Walk, Grunnings Drill, and the zoo.

| Caretaker's Hut
The small wooden building is a quant home for a single witch or wizard. This area is for the ground keeper / caretaker of Hogwarts. There is a pumpkin patch behind it, surrounded by a wooden fence.

| The Forbidden Forest
An eery forest lies to the east of Hogwarts. Unless on special occasions, and in the presence of a Professor, this area is strictly off limits. The forest is constellated with various types of trees. There are also many types of creatures in the forest. Some can be dangerous. Others, however, are genuinely kind. But they tend to keep to themselves.

| Greenhouses
Outside the large castle, and not too far away, lies three greenhouses. The buildings are often used for Herbology classes. However, some students come here for free time as well.

| The Lake
The lake is actually quite large, being a half-mile in diameter. It is located on Hogwarts grounds, to the south side. Such creatures as the Giant Squid, Merfolk, and Grindylows live inside its depths.

| Quidditch Fields
The fields are used for Quidditch practices and games. Many students come to tryout at the beginning of the year. And, as time goes on, there is practices and games. The games are always fun to be at, even if you are not playing. Have team pride!

| The Whomping Willow
Few students know of the secret, even after so much time. However, at the bottom of the trunk, there lies a secret passageway to the Shrieking Shack. But the tree attacks anyone who ventures to close. Still, there is a way to stop the madness. Find the specific knot and paralyze it quickly!
